Advenperture: creating & capturing the art of living life.
Get up in the morning, shower, go to school, go to work, do more work, eat, sleep. This is the every day routine of every day people in America. People who have nothing to look forward to except the next deadline, the next bill payment, the next premiere of a television show that depicts people whose lives look worse off than their own, and allots the occasional laugh.
This is option A on how to life your life. This is how I have been stuck for the past twenty years, telling myself that “oh, yeah, I’m gonna take that road trip next summer. Definitely.” That was four summers ago.
Or, there’s the perspective of those who live in option B:
“Most people exist so swaddled against danger, measuring out their lives with coffee spoons, that those who reckon by a different calculation of risk and reward appear insane, yet to survive a perilous situation is to love life more than the average person can imagine.” – Michael Ybarra, Extreme Sports Reporter, Wall Street Journal
I’m an average photographer, and and average girl, in a sea of people content with merely skimming by life without indulging into its glory and beauty.
My name is Michelle, and this is my pursuit of living life, and capturing and savoring it every moment along the way.
